PolyPower Manager (PSM) is a flexible, powerful, and easy to use power analysis software tool. It combines graphical analysis of data logs and waveforms with before/after report generation, special modes of operation, and control of PolyPower instruments. This exciting product works with Windows
95/98/NT/2000/Me/XP. PSM is perfect for analysis of all utility powers: one phase, two phase, three phase,
phase-phase, phase-neutral, AC/DC, and 45Hz
to 440Hz.When
connected to the 3030 PolyPower Energy
Analyzer, PSM can obtain real-time and
stored waveforms of seven channels of
power inputs. These waveforms can be
graphed individually or in combination.
Complete harmonic analysis with bar
charts or raw data can be obtained at the
push of one key. Any display can be
printed in full color.
Similarly,
data logs from PowerSight can be
downloaded by PSM and displayed for
analysis. Detailed logs of activity from
minutes to weeks are easily handled. Zoom
and labeling functions allow precise
analysis and dipslay of the data of
interest. Data log displays contain 60
different measurement types including
voltage, current, true power, apparent
power, VAR, power factor, energy,
frequency, and harmonic distortion of
each phase.
For
custom analysis, all log data stored by
PSM is accessible as text files that are
directly compatible with Excel and other
spreadsheet programs. The user interface
makes complicated analysis remarkably
easy. First-time users and occasional
users quickly become productive.
The Report Generator software provides concise reports to document findings. Comparison reports are excellent for presenting before/after comparisons of power usage and projected cost. Separate logs can be compared or sections of the same log can be compared for this analysis. Summary reports summarize the data of a log or a designated section of the log.
An
integrated knowledge system provides
basic information about power analysis
including definitions of all measurement
terms and concepts, proper hookups to
measure various power systems, and
tutorials.
